Was brought from the Grand tour of Italy. This is a typical souvenir from Italy. Views of Pavlovsk were added later by an anonymous miniaturist who knew Pavlovsk very well.

The book is based on archival materials and contains a lot of original documents and letters relating to Maria Feodorovna.

The best recent book on Maria Fedorovna. The most valuable section of this book is a list of primary resources on Maria Fedorovna from Russian archives. Marie translated all letters into French.
